The clap conference, organized by the Department of Digital Media is going to be held at The University of Arts of Bremen (Hochschule für Künste) on Speicher XI. The Conference is taking part at the University's event Hochschultage (Open day), which will take place from the 11th until the 12th of February 2012.

Works or projects in the fields of Art, Design, Communication, IT and other related areas, could participate within the following formats: showcase exhibition, presentation, speech and paper presentation.

In the last decades, Digital Media had a striking effect on our perception and our handling of the world. Digital Media cast their influence in all thinkable fields of life. It is not possible to capture their implications from only one perspective. To consider the social impact of Digital Media, the CLAP Conference connects diverse points of view from different fields of art, design and science.

Sincerely,
The CLAP Conference Team.
